Accreditation and CLE Rules for Ohio
Courses purchased through UnitedCLE.com are provided and fully accredited by The National Academy of Continuing Legal Education, a self-study established sponsor (sponsor number 14232) by the Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education.
On 8/30/2022 The Supreme Court of OH sent a notice that it has permanently removed the self-study CLE cap for all attorneys moving forward in 2023 and beyond OH Supreme Court Notice. Therefore all OH attorneys can now satisfy their entire requirement with our Online & iOS/Android App courses.
Ohio attorneys are required to complete 24 credits including 2.5 credits of Professional Conduct every 2 years.
Ohio attorneys can earn all 24 CLE credit hours with us including 2.5 credits of Professional Conduct using our Online & iOS/Android App courses.
An attorney’s reporting period depends on the first letter of the attorney’s last name. Ohio attorneys with last names beginning with A-L are due on December 31st of each odd numbered year and attorneys with last names beginning M-Z are required to complete their requirement on each even numbered year.

About This Course
Ethical codes of conduct for attorneys are quote strict and often pose challenging dilemmas, particularly when the clients are the ones causing them. This CLE course will review these codes and present potential dilemmas attorneys may face including perjury by a client, social media exposure and scams regarding settlement money entrusting to a firm. The course will provide tips and strategies for preventing and managing these and other potential dilemmas.
