Accreditation and CLE Rules for Ohio

All courses offered by the National Academy of Continuing Legal Education for Ohio attorneys are approved by Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education. National Academy of Continuing Legal Education has been recognized as a self-study established sponsor (sponsor number 14232) by the Ohio Commission on Continuing Legal Education. You can see all of our approved courses by going to the OH Supreme Court website and searching for "National Academy of Continuing Legal Education" under Sponsor Name: OH CLE Activity Search. Ohio attorneys can now earn all 24 credits with National Academy of Continuing Legal Education including 2.5 credits of “Attorney Professional Conduct.”
The Supreme Court of Ohio requires the completion of 24 hours of CLE activity in a two-year reporting period. An attorney’s reporting period depends on the first letter of the attorney’s last name. Ohio attorneys with last names beginning with A-L are due on December 31st of each odd numbered year and attorneys with last names beginning M -Z are required to complete their requirement on each even numbered year. Ohio allows attorneys to carryover 12 self-study credits.
