About This Course
Eastern Europe is undergoing profound constitutional and legal shifts, with national legal systems evolving in response to changing political realities and broader global influences. This CLE program offers U.S. attorneys a practical roadmap to understanding these developments, with a special emphasis on how they relate to cross-border legal practice.
Beginning with an in-depth review of selected Eastern European countries as sovereign actors redefining their legal identities, the course will then turn to the role of the European Union and its influence on legal harmonization and market integration. U.S. legal professionals will come away with a clearer understanding of how these transformations affect international transactions, compliance obligations, and legal risk in transnational representation.
