This CLE course will take you through a musical playlist that corresponds to tips, strategies and rules for persuasive motions that are as inspiring for the listener as they are for the writer who is drafting.

    The course will explain specific standards for any type of motion as well as strategies to employ for your Notice of Motion and Affirmation and Memorandum of Law. The course will also include tips for inclusion of exhibits as well the ethical and statutory principles that should be your guide.

    Tracy Frankel

    Tracy Frankel has practiced law for 21 years and concentrates in the area of appellate advocacy. She has achieved successful appellate decisions in various appellate departments in the State of New York and in the State of New Jersey. She has appeared before the New York State Court of Appeals. Prior to solely focusing her career on appellate advocacy, she practiced as a defense litigator in areas including medical and professional malpractice, labor law/construction, personal injury, property damage, premises liability and insurance coverage, among others.

    In 2016 Hofstra Law School’s Center for Families, Children and the Law, selected Tracy Frankel for their inaugural Long Island Outstanding Women In Law Award. She has also been selected to the New York Metro Area’s Super Lawyer list since 2015 for her appellate work.
