Laura Morask
Laura opened her office in April, 2013 after 25 years as a prosecutor with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. We have been fortunate to help numerous clients over these many years, and look forward to continuing that mission for many more years to come. Our office has grown over the years, with the addition of several attorneys and administrative staff to better serve all of your legal needs. Check out the “Team Members” page to meet our staff.
While we celebrate our growth as a firm, our approach to your case has remained constant; as criminal defense attorneys, Laura and her team offer dedicated legal assistance and personalized customer service in a non-intimidating atmosphere where Laura brings to the table 30+ years of criminal law experience and a multitude of knowledge.
Feel free to contact Laura for a consultation to discuss your case and assess your needs.
Focused areas of practice include criminal defense, both felony and misdemeanor, and a full range of services for DUI and other traffic court trials. Another particular area of interest to us is our extensive focus on defending police officers throughout all phases of investigation and trial, both administratively and in criminal court, should an officer be charged. We defend a host of other professionals before administrative boards, including Cook County Sheriffs, Doctors, Nurses, and Teachers and have appeared before numerous boards such as the Independent Police Review Authority(IPRA), the Cook County Sheriff’s Merit Board, the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES), and the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services (IDHS). We also handle all of your expungement and sealing needs.
Laura’s office is easily accessible to the Northwest Suburban area and concentrates in the areas of Skokie, Rolling Meadows, 26th and California, and all preliminary hearing branch courts. We also welcomed Dean’s firm to our Park Ridge location. Dean accepts office appointments through the Law Offices of Dean C. Morask. Dean is a full-service highly-experienced veteran criminal defense attorney. His extensive trial experience extends to all areas of Juvenile Court law, procedures for dealing with the Department of Children and Family Services, and handling expungements through Petitions for Executive Clemency. Together Laura and Dean offer decades of experience at both the trial and appellate levels.
