    Ethical obligations as pertained to social media is a thorny issue and one that gets more complicated as our digital lives have become such a prominent aspect of our lives. It is critical for attorneys to be aware of their ethical obligations with respect to various social media platforms and how they share information. This CLE course will explain the ethical obligations and how to prevent ethical violations on platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and others.

    Scott Limmer

    Scott Limmer‘s practice concentrates in the areas of criminal defense and college disciplinary law. For over 20 years Scott has successfully represented clients in State and Federal Courts throughout Long Island and New York City. Scott also advises and represents college and graduate students across the country when they are accused of violating their schools code of conduct. Scott is also the co-host of the “Reboot Your Law Practice” podcast, where every week he and his co-host, discuss the issues that face small and solo practitioners. Scott also hosts a monthly networking meeting for attorneys, called "Master Your Law Practice" at Seasons 52 in Roosevelt Field.
