    The legal intricacies of temporary injunctive relief as it pertains to small, medium-sized corporate, LLC and partnership litigation is no simple topic. But this CLE course, presented by Yan Margolin and complete with war stories, analogies and quips, is designed to clarify the issue in a lecture that is both interesting and informative. The course will review the different types of reliefs, their applications, both strategic and tactical, and their legal requirements. The course will also identify situations wherein the deployment of certain available tools is recommended as well as those when preliminary relief is not recommended. Margolin will offer tips for presenting to the judge and explain how to satisfy the legal standard under applicable laws.

    Yan Margolin

    Yan Margolin is a commercial litigator with offices in NoHo/East Village and Downtown Manhattan. He focuses his practice of business disputes in the restaurant and bar space, as well as general small and medium corporate litigation. He also handles commercial coverage claims, appellate practice and tax certiorari for buildings assessed in the seven-figure range. He and his law partner Neil Postrygacz were recently in the New York Post and Daily News for their work on the “Mission Chinese” litigation against the restaurant’s former landlords.

    Mr. Margolin is a graduate of the University of Southern California Law School, whose weather he misses greatly, and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from NYU. He lives in Manhattan, and is fluent in Russian.
