Michael S. Brady, Esq., CES®
Michael S. Brady was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1994, and has nearly 20 years of experience handling commercial and residential real estate transactions, title insurance issues and 1031 exchanges. He has earned the Certified Exchange Specialist® (CES®) designation from the Federation of Exchange Accommodators, the national trade association organized to represent professionals who conduct like-kind exchanges under Internal Revenue Code §1031. Michael’s career has included many years in private practice, representing buyers, sellers, lenders, title insurance companies, landlords and tenants in commercial and residential real estate transactions. He also spent several years running the Eastern Operations for the qualified intermediary division of a large national title insurance underwriter.
Michael is currently Vice President and Corporate Counsel for Riverside 1031 LLC and Riverside Abstract LLC, affiliated companies that provide 1031 exchange qualified intermediary and title insurance services nationwide. In addition to guiding clients and their tax and legal advisors through sophisticated tax deferral strategies and complex real estate transactions, he is a well known and frequent lecturer and writer on tax and legal issues.
