About This Course
The practice of law requires not just a concrete understanding of the justice system, but the continuous evaluation of ethical obligations and requirements. Attorney/client privilege, confidentiality, conflict of interest resolution, client obligations, opposing attorney and witness obligations, application of ethical codes to attorney courtesy issues, billing and advertising, and fact-finding—all of these everyday concerns are ethically-based issues which require attorneys to consult the rules and guidelines which govern their behavior. This CLE course will pay careful attention to the most common ethical issues attorneys confront and will incorporate hypothetical scenarios posed by the audience in a live setting.
