About This Course
First impressions are important. In an attorney/client relationship, the initial interview is when that first impression is made. This CLE course will present how client trust is achieved during that first meeting. The course will discuss the factors that make for a successful initial interview beginning with the importance of small talk and the description of legal terms.
An attorney’s ability to recognize a client’s goals, and sometimes manage expectations is critical as is how billing is presented. The course will explain how to conduct the conversation step-by-step, including creating a game plan, an overview of the process and even homework to keep them engaged.
