Brian J. Markowitz, Esq.
Mr. Markowitz focuses his practice on construction disputes, construction contract drafting and negotiation, commercial litigation, real estate litigation and complex commercial litigation. Mr. Markowitz represents property owners, developers, construction managers, general contractors and design professionals in all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial or alternative dispute resolution and appeals, in matters involving mechanics’ lien foreclosures, delay claims, extra work disputes, defaults and wrongful termination claims, trust fund claims, surety and insurance issues design defect claims, adverse possession claims, license agreements, adjacent landlord issues, and coop/condo disputes.
He has extensive experience in all aspects of contract drafting, negotiation and review, including drafting, negotiating and reviewing construction management and general construction agreements, architectural and engineering agreements, construction access and license agreements, consulting agreements and subcontracts.
