Bruce E. Gudin, Esq. a partner in the Newark firm of Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin & Plaza, P.C., concentrates his practice in the representation of property owners and property management companies for Landlord Tenant and related litigation and transactional matters.
I attended Law School at Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University, New York
and Received a Juris Doctor from Cardozo 1989.
I have been with Ehrlich, Petriello, Gudin & Plaza, P.C.as an Associate, April, 1989-1997 and as a Partner, from 1997 to the Present.
Since 1989 my practice has evolved from general civil, criminal, and family law matters in NY and NJ to the point where my work is limited to landlord/tenant and related matters in New Jersey. Since 2011 I have been the co-author of Landlord Tenant and Related Issues in the Superior Court, published by NJ ICLE which is recognized in the State as the seminal publication on the subject. I am a frequent lecturer on the subject of Landlord/Tenant Law, Residential and Commercial Evictions in New Jersey, Commercial Leasing Considerations, and Section 8 Housing in New Jersey for NJICLE and other private CLE providers. I am currently counsel to the New Jersey Property Owners Assn. (www.POANJ.Org) and served two terms as President, and I am an active member of the New Jersey Apartment Assn. (www.NJAA.com) where I consult on legislative matters. I worked closely with the New Jersey Law Revision Commission to completely rewrite the body of law on eviction matters. I have the distinguished recognition of a SuperLawyer® in New Jersey since 2012, a Top Attorney in NJ and a Top Attorney in Real Estate Law as recognized by my peers, and I am also recognized as an expert on the subject having been qualified as such in a litigation matter in the Superior Court.
