Ryan A. Marrone, Of Counsel, has over twelve years experience representing private and public companies in various capacities. He concentrates on providing General Counsel Services to small and mid-sized businesses. His broad legal experience and entrepreneurial background enable him to bring a fresh approach to representing companies. His areas of practice include General Counsel Services, Corporate and Banking Finance, Business Organizations and Transactions, Commercial & Residential Real Estate, Zoning & Land Use, Foreign Trade Zone, Eminent Domain, and Environmental Law.
In the area of SOLAR INTEGRATION & DEVELOPMENT , Mr. Marrone developed and implemented a business model for the design, build, operation, and maintenance of solar installations on industrial buildings. The model included revenue generation from power purchase agreements with tenants and the sale of Solar Renewable Energy Credits (SRECs). He continues to provide comprehensive legal counsel to Solar Integration companies for their commercial, industrial, residential, and farm installations. This representation includes obtaining local zoning approvals, preparing and negotiating PPA, SLA, BOT, and other related contracts, and implementation of risk avoidance measures associated with solar installations.
Mr. Marrone's Zoning & Land Use practice is geared towards handling controversial applications throughout the State of New Jersey.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Marrone served as General Counsel for Heller Industrial Parks, Inc. Heller operates and manages 16 million square feet of industrial warehouse and office space across the United States and has net assets in excess of $1.1 billion. As General Counsel, Mr. Marrone developed strategic plans for growth of the company. Prior to his tenure with the Heller organization, Mr. Marrone served as Regional Counsel to FCC licensed wireless telecommunications companies, General Counsel to the Parking Authority of the City of Hoboken, and Special Counsel to the Hoboken Housing Authority.
Mr. Marrone is admitted to the bars of New Jersey, the United States District Court - District of New Jersey, and the District of Columbia. He serves on several community organizations and sits on the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital - Hamilton, Professional Affairs Committee and Compliance Committee. Mr. Marrone received his B.A. in English from Seton Hall University, in South Orange, New Jersey, and earned his J.D. from Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. He currently resides in Chesterfield, New Jersey with his wife and two daughters.
