About This Course
This CLE program explores the lifecycle of trade secret assets, with an emphasis on how organizations can systematically identify, secure, and leverage proprietary information. Attendees will examine practical approaches to inventorying and categorizing trade secrets, as well as techniques for evaluating their economic significance within a business.
The course also addresses protective measures designed to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure, including internal controls and contractual safeguards such as confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements. In addition, participants will review the governing legal landscape and consider risk mitigation strategies aimed at minimizing exposure to misappropriation claims, competitive loss, and related disputes.
