Hannah E. Taylor, Esq.
Hannah Taylor is an associate in the Advertising, Marketing & Public Relations Group at Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz, focusing on advertising, branded entertainment and intellectual property matters.
Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Ms. Taylor was an associate with Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, where she practiced in the general litigation and intellectual property practice groups. She was also active in pro bono matters, including advising artists on a variety of entertainment transactions and serving as counsel in two major litigations on behalf of the City of New York. She has been associated with Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, Legal Momentum, Fross Zelnick Lehrman & Zissu, and is a member of the Thomson Reuters Westlaw® National Advisory Board.
Ms. Taylor graduated from Bryn Mawr College (BA, 2000) and University of Michigan Law School (JD, 2007). She is admitted to practice in the state court of New York and in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
Jeremy S. Goldman, Esq.
Jeremy S. Goldman is a partner in the Litigation Group and Technology, Digital Media & Privacy Group, focusing on entertainment, intellectual property, commercial and privacy law.
Mr. Goldman represents many companies and individuals in the media, entertainment, advertising and technology spaces in complex litigations involving copyright in the digital age, film and television contracts, trademarks and rights of publicity. He has litigated some of the most closely watched copyright and entertainment cases, including representing The Authors Guild in the Google Books and HathiTrust cases, and Hasbro in a 2014 trial in Los Angeles over the motion picture rights to Dungeons & Dragons. Mr. Goldman's litigation experience also extends to a wide range of commercial disputes in other areas. His representative matters include an Egyptian banking fraud case in New York federal court, an ICC arbitration in Geneva over the international sale of a roofing assembly line, a New York state court art fraud action, a mortgage-based insurance fraud, and a worldwide antitrust price-fixing investigation.
In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Goldman leverages his lifelong passion for computers and the Internet, including pre-law experience at a tech startup, to advise clients and attorneys on information privacy, data security, electronic discovery and a host of other technology-related issues. Mr. Goldman draws upon his technical understanding of hardware, software and networking systems to help businesses safeguard their sensitive data and respond to data breaches in compliance with U.S. and foreign laws. He also counsels brands, advertisers, publishers and technology companies on online privacy and data security issues, from thinking through complex privacy issues at the product design phase to representing companies facing regulatory and other legal action. Mr. Goldman has written and presented extensively on these topics.
Mr. Goldman is accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Professional with a focus in U.S. private-sector privacy law. He is a member of the Copyright and Literary Committee of the New York City Bar Association. Mr. Goldman is admitted to practice in New York state, federal and appellate courts. His published work appears in The Lexis Practice Advisor and Bloomberg's Federal Practice Law Reports, and he has been quoted in Deadline Hollywood, Hollywood Reporter, Courthouse News, and other media.
Kimberly Maynard, Esq.
Kimberly M. Maynard is a partner in the Trademark & Brand Management, and Litigation Groups. She represents emerging and established companies on intellectual property matters across a variety of industries, including technology, fashion, jewelry, finance, food, automotive, television and dance. World Intellectual Property Review recently included Ms. Maynard as a “Trailblazer” in its “Influential Women in IP” list.
Ms. Maynard guides her clients through all aspects of domestic and international brand-building and brand management. She works hard to understand client business goals and to craft practical, cost-effective legal strategies that meet those goals. Ms. Maynard analyzes and assesses the benefits and risks associated with adopting new brands, prepares and implements strategies for the development of new brands, and protects and expands established brands. Ms. Maynard represents clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and litigates cases involving complex trademark, trade dress, advertising, copyright and design patent issues in federal court. She also negotiates complex license and settlement agreements, advises on domain names and social media, and counsels on the proper use of trademarks and trade dress. Recently, she was part of the Frankfurt Kurnit team that represented Sprint in a high-profile false advertising case.
Prior to joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Ms. Maynard was an associate at BakerHostetler, where, among other things, she led a team of lawyers in an appeal of a Trademark Trial and Appeal Board decision before the Southern District of New York — ultimately securing ownership of trademarks for a major New York City dance theater. Prior to law school, Ms. Maynard was affiliated with Trisha Brown Dance Company.
Ms. Maynard is a member of the New York State Bar Association (Intellectual Property Group) and a member of the U.S. Trademark Law Committee (Intellectual Property Owners Association). She serves on INTA’s Young Practitioner’s Committee and was an Adjunct Professor at New York Law School, where she helped start the PTO Trademark Clinic. She is admitted to practice in the New York and New Jersey state courts, as well as in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey, and the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Zachery Lewis, Esq
Zach Lewis is an associate in the Interactive Entertainment and Blockchain Technology Groups.
He counsels clients on non-fungible tokens (NFTs), Web3, and new technology ventures across a
wide range of industries, from video games and music to fashion, food, and film.
Before joining Frankfurt Kurnit, Zach graduated cum laude from Temple Law in Philadelphia
with a full tuition scholarship and an additional scholarship for excellence in corporate law.
There, he was also awarded for his outstanding trial, mediation, and oral advocacy and worked as
a Staff Editor for the Temple Law Review. For years, Zach wrote about the intersection of law and
technology, including the legality of digital music sampling and pharmaceutical product hopping
under intellectual property law.
He later served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Anne E. Lazarus of the Superior Court of
Pennsylvania. He was recognized by Marquis Who’s Who in America in 2020 for his dedication to
the field of law and passion for learning.
In 2021, Zach created Blockchain Barristers, an active global community of nearly 400 lawyers
focused on legal issues surrounding blockchain technology. He currently serves as the lead
community manager, compiling open access resources and facilitating virtual and in-person
discussions for members in addition to working on other benefits.
Zach is a passionate NFT collector and advocate with an academic background in psychology. He
frequently speaks and writes about Web3, smart contracts, the metaverse, and the potential for
NFTs and blockchain technology to empower individuals and disrupt countless industries. He
offers the incredibly unique perspective of a collector, consumer, community member, and lawyer
when discussing blockchain, culture, and the law with clients to help them navigate these rapidly
changing landscapes.
Zach is admitted to practice only in Pennsylvania. He is not yet admitted in New York. He speaks,
reads, and writes fluent Spanish.
