Scott  L. Pestcoe, was  admitted to practice  in the  State  of  Florida  in 1988  and regularly  appears before  both the  civil  trial  and appellate  courts  throughout  the  State  of  Florida.  Mr. Pestcoe  is admitted  to  practice  before  the  federal trial  courts  in  the  United  States  District Court for  the Southern and Middle  Districts  of  Florida, as  well  as  before  the  United States  Court  of  Appeals  for the  Eleventh Circuit.   Mr. Pestcoe  has  appeared before  the  Bankruptcy  Court  where  he  has  litigated various  adversary  proceedings,  as  well as  provided  trial/litigation  support to  attorneys  specializing in bankruptcy  practice.   He  has  also  represented  clients  in  a  variety  of  disputes  in  administrative and arbitrations  proceedings.
Mr.  Pestcoe has  extensive  litigation and trial  experience  in both state  and federal  courts.  His practice  primarily  focuses  on commercial  disputes  and individuals  who  have  suffered bodily injury/wrongful  death.  He  has  represented a  wide  variety  of  clients;  from  large, multi-national corporations  to individuals  in an equally  diverse  range  of  commercial  matters  including:  business litigation, construction defect  actions, the  defense  of  professionals  in the  construction industry, real  estate  related  litigation  (including  title  disputes, foreclosure  of  liens/mortgages  and  the  defense of  same, and broker  commission disputes, to name  a  few), and various  corporate  disputes  including both the  prosecution and defense  of  shareholder  derivative  suits.  Mr.  Pestcoe  has  also vast experience  in the  area  of  community  association issues, having  represented  numerous  homeowners and condominium  associations, property  management  companies  and  developers  in a  variety  of matters, including issues  involving  turnover  of  communities  from  developers  to  association members, assisting  boards  of  directors  in understanding, enforcing  and discharging  the  officers’ and directors’  obligations  under  Florida  law  and  the  association’s  governing  documents, as  well as  general  corporate  issues  governing  the  conduct  of  the  association and general  business  advice.   A substantial  part  of  Mr.  Pestcoe’s  practice  involves  representing individuals  who have  suffered bodily  injury  or  death as  a  result  of  an automobile  accident, product  defect  and/or  design,  and the negligence  of  another.   Mr. Pestcoe  also represents  individuals  who have  suffered substantial injury  or  death  as  a  result  of  medical  malpractice.   
Scott  L. Pestcoe  graduated from  the  University  of  Florida, College  of  Law  with honors  in  1988 where he was  awarded  the  Order  of  the  Coif, Order  of  the  Barristers  and held the  position of Chancellor  of  the  University's  Honor  Court, overseeing  administration of  the  University's  Honor Code  to 35,000 students.  He  is  a  member  of  the  American Trial  Lawyers  Association of  America, The Florida Academy of  Trial  Lawyers  and  numerous  legal  associations.  Mr.  Pestcoe is  very  active in civic  organizations  in Dade  and Broward County  having  founded Temple  Dor  Dorim  in Weston, Florida. Mr. Pestcoe  was  born in1963 in Nashville, Tennessee.
