Mitzi Vaughn, Esq.
Mitzi Vaughn is the Chief Legal Officer for AltoTerra Capital Partners, a British Columbia corporation that provides financing and leases real estate and hard assets to US and international cannabis and hemp enterprises. Prior to joining AltoTerra, Mitzi worked with Greenbridge Corporate Counsel, a transactional law boutique exclusively serving cannabis industry clients in Washington, California, and Hawai’i. Between 2013 and 2017, she advised a wide range of cannabis and hemp industry clients regarding corporate, transactional, intellectual property, and employment matters, as well as Washington state adult-use and medical cannabis regulations. She also served as Greenbridge’s Managing Attorney.
In addition to her practice, Mitzi has advised governmental bodies regarding cannabis regulation, including the Hawai'i Legislature’s Joint Health Committee, the Jamaican Cannabis Licensing Authority, the City of Seattle, members of the Washington State Legislature, and the Washington Liquor and Cannabis Board (ongoing). She regularly speaks at conferences about cannabis and hemp law, drug policy, and social justice, and has been interviewed by radio, print, and television media regarding cannabis industry issues.
