Accreditation and CLE Rules for New York
Courses purchased through UnitedCLE.com are provided and fully accredited by The National Academy of Continuing Legal Education, an Accredited NYS CLE Provider.
National Academy of Continuing Legal Education is a NYS Accredited CLE Provider. The NY CLE Board maintains an Accredited Provider directory on their website. You can find us listed on the most recent directory at http://www.nycourts.gov/attorneys/cle/aplist.pdf.
Attorneys may earn all 24 CLE credit hours from National Academy of Continuing Legal Education, including all 4 Legal Ethics credits. Experienced NY attorneys may carry over up to 6 credits from one CLE cycle into the next.
New York attorneys must report that they are CLE compliant on their biennial registration form and must retain proof of compliance for a minimum of four years. Accordingly, National Academy of CLE issues a NY CLE Certificate of Attendance for all CLE activities.
Newly admitted attorneys cannot get credit for self-study courses during their first two years of admittance to the Bar without prior approval from the NY CLE Board and must satisfy special rules outlined in the New York MCLE Rules and Guidelines .
