Lecturer Bios
Lee Rone, Esq.
Lee Rone is the General Counsel of IntelAgree, where he is responsible for negotiating the company’s key contracts with customers, vendors, and partners. He is also an active participant in IntelAgree’s product design and development process and serves as an advisor to the company’s customer success, data science, and implementation teams.
Mr. Rone has extensive experience designing contract templates, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, handling data privacy matters, and developing contracting workflows for both cloud and on-premise software companies. This work places him at the intersection of contract practice, data governance, and the AI-enabled tooling now reshaping both — the focus of this program.
Before joining IntelAgree, Mr. Rone served as one of the lead transactional attorneys for Global 500 SaaS company SAP America, Inc. He holds a Juris Doctor from Whittier Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Texas A&M University.
Marlon Abbott
Marlon Abbott is the Director of Information Security at IntelAgree, where he leads the company's information security strategy across its governance, risk, and compliance program. He oversees security architecture, IT audit, cybersecurity control governance, risk management, incident response, and data privacy, partnering with teams across the company on compliance and program maturity.
A certified IT auditor and information security professional, Mr. Abbott has extensive experience in IT audit, global and critical-infrastructure compliance, cloud and product security, third-party risk management, and enterprise penetration testing. This work places him at the intersection of information security, regulatory compliance, and the AI-enabled tooling now reshaping legal and contract operations, the focus of this program.
Before joining IntelAgree, Mr. Abbott served as an Information Warfare Officer and Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy's Pacific Fleet, and later spent more than two decades as a virtual chief information security officer for global utility and critical-infrastructure organizations, including Edison International and Dassault Systèmes. He holds a Juris Doctor in technology law from Northwestern California University School of Law, a PhD in computational science from San Diego State University, and a Master of Science in computer science from Colorado Technical University.
Stanislav Zakharenko, Esq.
Stanislav Zakharenko is a technology and AI-focused attorney and a Principal at GTC Law Group, where he is a member of the firm's Technology Transactions Group and co-leads its Artificial Intelligence practice. He advises clients across media, software, financial services, healthcare, and other industries on AI and technology transactions, including M&A matters totaling more than $1 billion in aggregate value.
Mr. Zakharenko brings 20 years of experience at the intersection of intellectual property, technology, and emerging technologies, with focus areas spanning AI governance and responsible AI programs, data and model licensing, and AI risk assessment in M&A and software due diligence.
Before joining GTC, Mr. Zakharenko held senior in-house legal roles at leading global technology companies, including General Counsel of Audible, Senior Counsel at Amazon, and Director of Product and Tech Legal at Netflix. A frequent CLE and conference speaker on AI governance and risk, he holds a Juris Doctor from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in music from Stony Brook University.
