About This Course
This CLE course provides a practical, up-to-date analysis of corporate immigration compliance in a shifting enforcement landscape. It focuses on the legal and operational challenges employers face when managing workforce changes—such as reductions in force, mergers, and internal reorganizations—and the downstream impact on H-1B employees, PERM labor certification processes, and employment-based permanent residency cases.
Attendees will explore core compliance obligations, including the preparation and maintenance of H-1B Public Access Files and adherence to PERM documentation standards, alongside a review of recent policy updates and enforcement activity. The program also emphasizes real-world guidance for counseling clients through audits, site inspections, and government inquiries, with an emphasis on building durable compliance frameworks and minimizing exposure to regulatory risk.
