Accreditation and CLE Rules for Kentucky
Courses purchased through UnitedCLE.com are provided and fully accredited by The National Academy of Continuing Legal Education, a sponsor of CLE activities approved by Kentucky Bar Association CLE Commission.
Kentucky attorneys must complete 12 CLE credit hours per year by June 30th, including at least 2 credits in Ethics.
Kentucky attorneys can earn all 12 CLE credit hours with us including 2 credits of Ethics with our "Technological" programs using our Online & iOS/Android App courses.
The compliance cycle is from July 1st through June 30th and each member must certify compliance by August 10th each year.
Kentucky Attorneys may carry over 24 credits, 4 of which can be ethics, into the next two reporting periods.

About This Course
The issue of defamation and its boundaries with regards to the First Amendment is fairly tricky. This CLE course will explain the evolving aspects of defamation as it relates to First Amendment rights.
The course will significantly improve participants’ ability to identify and unravel issues that may be of concern to clients. No prior knowledge of defamation is required.
