  • Description

Ethical standards are a requirement in any legal entity and it is perhaps surprising how specific industries maintain their own guidelines to ensure compliance. This CLE course is specifically geared to ensure title company personnel maintain the highest ethical standards and reviews the ethical requirements imposed by RESPA, the New York State Insurance Law, and Opinions issued by the Insurance Department's Office of General Counsel. Additionally, the course will explain the effects of statutes governing the unauthorized practice of law upon title insurance companies and their personnel.
