Lecturer Bio
Boyd Jentzsch, Esq.
Boyd Jentzsch, Attorney Emeritus, encountered his first MLM company in 1976, when a client of his marketing company asked him to employ his newly minted Law Degree to draft its written distributor contract, policies and procedures, and review its compensation program for potential legal problems. As there was no such “MLM Industry” at that point in time, the only real guidance was to make sure the company was not an “illegal pyramid,” which had recently been defined by the FTC. While focusing his practice on Securities Law, he honed his craft and developed deep experience practicing MLM-related law in Salt Lake City, the Silicon Valley of MLM, it having spawned a number of multi-billion dollar enterprises, and multiple dozens smaller but sustained MLM businesses over the last 50 years.
With a unique perspective on the interface between MLM marketing and the law, Mr. Jentzsch has represented many of the largest in the industry, usually in their formative years, helping others to navigate and avoid their decline. Maintaining law offices (with local partners) in Hong Kong and Taipei for many years, he worked with several early entrants as they pioneered operations in Asia. He has also been the COO/CEO of five MLM companies, in startup or turnaround modes as owners worked to recruit seasoned management. He has advised large and small MLM companies in diverse product categories, from weight loss, to Crypto, to CBD, to nutritional supplements. He has advised companies with operations in North America, UK, and the EU — with a special emphasis on Asia/Pacific. He continues to actively practice law from Florida, concentrating on MLM and Federal law.
He has over 15,000 Followers on LinkedIn, with over 2000 Endorsements.
