    Robert (Robin) Wood

    Robert (Robin) C. Wood III graduated from Washington & Lee University in 1962 and the University of Virginia Law School in 1965. He has been practicing law in Lynchburg, Virginia, for 57 years and is currently of counsel with Woods Rogers, PLC. He was an Adjunct Professor of Law at Washington & Lee University Law School from 1980 to 2020, teaching a course of Virginia Law and Procedure. He was elected an Honorary Member of the Order of the Coif at Washington & Lee Law School. His professional career includes leadership positions with the Virginia State Bar: former Editor of Litigation Section Newsletter, former Chairman of the Litigation Section, former Member of the Committee on Model Jury Instructions, and former Member and Chair of the Committee on Education of Lawyers. He served on the Board of Governors of the Virginia Bar Association twice (1985-1989 and 2007-2010).

    Robin is listed in: Best Lawyers in America in Business Litigation; Top Lawyers in the Richmond Magazine 2007; and Super Lawyers Business Edition Litigation 2012. He served as Chairman of the Boyd­Graves Conference. He is a Fellow of the Virginia Law Foundation, a recipient of the Tradition of Excellence Award from the Virginia State Bar in 2015, and received a Proclamation from the City of Lynchburg for Commitment to the Greater Lynchburg Community. In 2018 he was inducted in the first class of Virginia Lawyers Hall of Fame.

    Robin served as a Referee in the Atlantic Coast Conference for 30 years and was a former President of the Atlantic Coast Conference Football Officials Association.
