    One of the most important regulations in the mortgage industry, UDAAP or Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices impacts every other lending regulation including marketing, fair lending, licensing and communication). It also impacts every aspect of the lending cycle.

    The regulation, however, is fairly subjective and difficult to defend against. This CLE course will explain how the regulation operates in practice and provide critical knowledge for lending and real estate lawyers.

    Brian Brunkow

    Brian Brunkow, Esq., is a northwest native and graduated cum laude with a business law focus from Seattle University School of Law. Brian passed the WA Bar in ’01, the CA Bar in ’06, and has worked extensively in regulatory compliance, corporate training, and dispute resolution in Washington and California.

    Outside of work, Brian has coached youth & high school football, is a sports parenting author, and speaks at west coast coaching clinics on student athlete development and NCAA athletic recruiting practices.
