About This Course
Attorneys navigating the intersection of artificial intelligence and copyright law face a growing set of legal uncertainties. From the use of copyrighted material in training datasets to the question of whether AI-generated outputs can qualify for protection, the legal system is grappling with how to apply traditional IP principles to new technologies.
This CLE course offers a practical overview of current legal developments, including recent court decisions and evolving guidance from the U.S. Copyright Office. While some contours of the law are beginning to take shape, the lack of a consistent legal framework—often referred to as the missing “bright line”—leaves many critical issues unresolved.
