Timothy D. Snowden
Timothy Snowden is a registered patent practitioner, patent strategist and the founder of Definitive Patents, an independent patent prosecution agency and patent portfolio development consultancy, and also co-founder of Synchrony IP, a network of independent professionals serving IP-focused high-growth companies. With more than 15 years of experience in IP spanning patent preparation, prosecution, appeals, licensing, and portfolio strategy, he fills the role of a fractional Chief IP Officer, helping companies turn innovation into commercially focused patent assets.
His work spans medical, agricultural, mechanical, electrical, software, energy, and consumer technologies. Timothy graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in mathematics, and conducted published honors research on cardiovascular regeneration mechanics. He is a Certified Patent Practitioner, a Certified Licensing Professional, and a member of the National Association of Patent Practitioners. He also volunteers with the National Council on Patent Practicum, including work supporting standardized qualification and expanding opportunities for patent practitioners.
As a Christian, Timothy views innovation and entrepreneurship as part of humanity’s responsibility to steward God’s creation. His mission is to glorify God by helping entrepreneurs develop, protect, and responsibly commercialize their innovations.
Joycelyn Brown
Joycelyn Brown is a Partner at J. Muir & Associates, P.A. where she advises clients at the intersection of intellectual property, emerging technology, and regulatory risk. As a registered patent attorney, she brings deep experience in patent strategy, SaaS transactions, and complex commercial agreements, with a growing focus on responsible AI adoption within legal and operational frameworks.
Joycelyn works with companies and legal teams to navigate the evolving risks associated with AI adoption, including data protection, model accountability, and regulatory compliance. She integrates established frameworks (i.e., NIST AI RFM) with practical business-focused legal strategies.
She is also the founder of Method 9, an AI governance platform designed to help legal and operational teams implement structured, defensible approaches to AI risk management in real-world environments.
Kimberly Kelleher, Esq.
Kimberly C. Kelleher is Deputy General Counsel and Director of the Office of Enrollment and Discipline (OED) at the United States Patent and Trademark Office. She joined the USPTO in October 2012 as an Attorney Advisor in the Office of Enrollment and Discipline. As an Attorney Advisor, Ms. Kelleher investigates grievances alleging misconduct by practitioners, evaluates applications and conducts moral character investigations of applicants requesting registration before the USPTO, and assists with outreach to USPTO stakeholders.
Prior to joining the USPTO, Ms. Kelleher engaged in the private practice of intellectual property law with a general practice law firm in Washington DC, worked as a high school biology and research teacher in New York and was a research scientist in a neurobiology lab. Her private practice focused primarily on counseling clients on intellectual property matters, patent procurement and patent portfolio management, drafting patentability, freedom to operate, validity and non-infringement opinions, and licensing of IP rights. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of Virginia, a Master’s degree in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University and a Juris Doctor degree from Fordham University. She is admitted to the New York and Washington DC bars.
Diallo T. Crenshaw, Esq.
Mr. Crenshaw is a Principal of the firm whose practice focuses on all areas of patent law, with an emphasis on intellectual property counseling, patent preparation and prosecution, and infringement and validity opinions. His practice spans the electrical, mechanical, and software arts.
He majored in Computer Science at the University of Pennsylvania and later worked full-time at Quality Systems, Inc. (now BAE Systems) while attending George Washington University Law School. His technical experience includes wireless communication networks, computer hardware and architecture, telecommunications, mobile communications, voice processing, automotive systems, mechanical processes, printers, and medical imaging.
Mr. Crenshaw was previously a partner at a prominent intellectual property law firm and remains active in the intellectual property community, serving in leadership positions with several professional organizations.
Coby Henry, Esq.
Coby brings more than 25 years of experience in intellectual property law and electrical engineering to his role as Of Counsel at Wood IP. His practice focuses on patent preparation and prosecution, licensing, portfolio management, and strategic counseling across diverse industries, including manufacturing, control systems, semiconductors, telecommunications, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technologies.
Coby has held senior in-house and law firm roles throughout his career. As Senior Patent Attorney at Smith, Gambrell & Russell in Atlanta and Patent Counsel for Whirlpool Corporation, he provided comprehensive legal counsel on intellectual property matters, guiding patent portfolios and managing complex litigation. At Rheem Manufacturing Company, he spearheaded the company’s patent program, doubling annual patent filings in 2020 and driving 10% year-over-year portfolio growth. He also developed an enterprise-wide plan for building and protecting Rheem’s patent and trademark assets, while managing outside counsel and monetization initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Coby served as Director of Patent Licensing and Sales at AT&T Intellectual Property, where he was responsible for more than $18 million in annual licensing revenue and contributed to team efforts generating over $200 million. His experience in both monetization and enforcement provides clients with unique insight into the full lifecycle of intellectual property rights.
Beyond his corporate practice, Coby is committed to advancing the patent profession. He serves as a member of the Board of Advisors and as a lecturer for the National Council on Patent Practicum, Inc. (NCPP), where he mentors and trains aspiring patent attorneys.
Coby earned his Juris Doctor from Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School and his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The Citadel. He is admitted to the Georgia Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He is also a Certified Patent Practitioner and a Certified Engineer-in-Training (SCLLR).
