About This Course
Drawing on scenes from well-known films, this CLE program examines how courtroom portrayals can provide meaningful insights into effective litigation strategy and trial advocacy. Through a series of carefully selected movie clips, attendees will analyze practical techniques for witness examination, evidentiary presentation, case development, and persuasive courtroom advocacy, with a primary emphasis on plaintiff-side litigation.
Designed as a continuation of the concepts introduced in the first program, this course explores additional advocacy topics and demonstrates how cinematic courtroom moments can illustrate real-world litigation principles. By critically evaluating these scenes through the perspective of practicing attorneys, participants will gain practical strategies they can apply to pretrial preparation, trial presentation, and overall case strategy.
*This course qualifies as a Transitional course and can be taken by both Experienced and Newly Admitted attorneys in NY.
