Kenny Stein
Kenneth A. Stein, MD is board certified in both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine and subspecialty certified in Neurocritical Care. After Medical School at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Stein completed Residency at the University of Kentucky Medical Center and at Washington University Jewish Hospital.
Dr. Stein has practiced Emergency Medicine for 29 years and Critical Care / Intensive Care Medicine for 27 years.
Professional association memberships include the American Association of Physician Specialties, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American College of Chest Physicians.
Dr. Stein is an expert witness for both plaintiff and defense in cases involving emergency medicine, critical care and internal medicine, including damages & causation in personal injury and wrongful death cases.
Katie Sepcich
Katherine "Katie" Sepcich Drummond is an attorney at The Bowling Law Firm whose practice focuses on personal injury, medical malpractice, and pharmacy error litigation. Based in New Orleans, Katie handles complex cases from inception through resolution.
Katie's experience spans both the courtroom and the negotiating table. In the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, she successfully mediated numerous property damage claims against insurance companies. Her predominant practice is in medical malpractice, where her personal experience navigating the healthcare system informs how she advocates for her clients. She has handled a wide range of cases, contributing to several seven-figure recoveries in cases involving complex birth injuries and delayed treatment of infections. She also served as co-lead counsel in obtaining a favorable jury verdict in a cardiac malpractice case.
Katie has been recognized by her peers through selection to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2026 in three areas — Personal Injury – Plaintiff, Medical Malpractice – Plaintiff, and Medical Malpractice – Defendants — and as a Super Lawyers Rising Star 2025-2026 in Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury.
Before joining The Bowling Law Firm in January 2023, Katie served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Donald "Chick" L. Foret in the 24th Judicial District Court of Jefferson Parish and previously as a judicial intern to the Honorable Fredericka H. Wicker at the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal.
Katie earned her law degree from Loyola University College of Law, where she was a Dean's Scholarship recipient and a member of Loyola's Moot Court and Trial Advocacy programs – winning the 2019 Best Brief Award and Best Opening Statement at the 2019 Trial Advocacy Intramural Competition. She holds a certificate in common law alongside her civil law specialization. Before law school, Katie worked in a corporate legal role in Austin, Texas, and earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas at Austin, where she competed on the Texas Rowing Team and volunteered with East Austin Young Life.
Katie is admitted to the Louisiana Bar and licensed in all federal courts in Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit.
