Accreditation and CLE Rules for West Virginia

WV attorneys must complete 24 credits per compliance period including 3 credits of ethics. WV attorneys may earn up to 12 hours of CLE credit including 3 hours of ethics with the National Academy of Continuing Legal Education with our Online & iOS/Android App courses.
*The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia has issued an order temporarily waiving the 12-hour CLE format limitation for the 2020-2022 reporting cycle ending on June 30, 2022. West Virginia attorneys can complete their CLE requirement through video, audio, webcast, in-house, etc. so long as the course is approved for CLE in West Virginia.
WV attorneys can carry over 6 general credits completed in one compliance period to the next.
